10. The oil press does not product oil or oil yield is too low
a. The moisture of raw material is inappropriate, or the raw material is mildewed by damp, or the seed material is not saturated, or too many impurities. To solve above problems, you shall re-choose and re-cleaning of the oil materials, and control the moisture of oil material.
b. Oil discharge gap is blocked by residue scrap or rod is assembled too tight. You shall adjust the tightness of rod according to oil content.
c. At the beginning of oil pressing, the temperature of pressing chamber is low, or the cake is too thin or too thick will lead to no oil pressed out or oil yield is too low.
d. Some spare parts had wear out, the replacement is needed.
11. The leakage of dregs is too much
a. Some cage bars are bend or the gap between them is too large. At this point, you shall remove the rod, use emery cloth or oilstone to polish the sides of the cage bars, restraightening them and reload. If it is necessary, pad some thin metal to maintain the gap remain in 0.05-0.08 mm.
b. The plasticity of the oil material is not well enough, the cake is difficult to form which increases the pressure to the pressing chamber. You shall add appropriate amount water into the oil material and finish the process of grinding-in to rise the temperature of the pressing chamber which improves the plasticity of the oil material.
c. The cake is too thin. You should increase the thickness of the cake accoring to specification requirements.
12. The discharge to the cakes is not smooth
a. The cake thickness is not appropriate. You shall adjust the cake thickness.
b. Hard impurities such as dry cake or stones, iron and other materials is in the chamber. you should immediately shut down, take the oil press pressing screw out, check & clear the impurities in cake ringe and pressing chamber. According to the attrition of the dischareg ringe, you can repair it or replace by a new one.
13、Drain back
It can caused by the blocking of the oil gap, or the oil gap is too small, or the surface of the oil gap is rough. To the former situation, you shall remove and clean the rod,; to the later situation, you shall adjust the rod gap, and use oilstone to polish the oil gap.
14、oil press can not feed
a. Too much moisture in the oil material, the oil material should be sundried or fried.
b. Pressing screw surface is rough, it should be grinded by emery cloth or polished with a dry residue.
c. press rod wear or the polygon is broken, and you can turn the side and use it again.
15、chamber is Burnt
Because of the low moisture in the oil material, or the speed of pressing screw is too high or the temperature of the machine is too high.
You can increase the moisture content, change belt pulley speed or control the temperature of oil press.
16．If we build the storage for the oil plant, we need the dry or not?
It depends on the moisture of your seeds, if the moisture of oil seed you collect is higher than 12.5%, it will ask for drying system before silo storage.
17. What if the oil residual is higher than the design, How to solve it?
First, please check out the operation is follow the manual or not. If yes, check the steam cooked flake is in good condition or not.
18. What is the different of YZS-100 and 200A-3?
YZS-100 us mainly used in plant, together with cooker, besides, 200A-3 have high yield rate and life span.
19. What is the difference of hot pressing and cold pressing?
You could get a high yield rate by hot pressing, but the cake can only be used for feed not food. (Only suitable for soya bean).
20. Is it possible to make the small oil presses an automatic plant?
Yes, just add some conveyors.
21. What is the requirement on raw material?
The oil content is higher than 15%.
